GETTING GRAPHICS READY FOR PRINTED TABLE COVERS
Double check the print area for your table cover. This is the first and easiest step to make sure your intended artwork will work appropriately with your cover. Depending on the print method you’ve chose you may be printing on the front panel only or all over the entire cover.
Check colors, color modes and quality at print size. If you’re dealing with raster graphics, always be sure to zoom in to print size when your art is enlarged to fit the cover’s print area. Also ensure (whether vector or raster graphics) that your art is in CMYK color mode and using PMS colors if possible.
Outline text, embed external files. All text should be outlined to avoid font replacement as well as linked images being embedded if working with an Illustrator/InDesign file.
Save your file in an acceptable file type. Acceptable file types include: .pdf, .ai, .psd, .if, .jpg, .eps (InDesign files are not accepted, please export a .pdf or full quality .jpg from InDesign). Please Note: If you’re printing a heat transfer or silk screened table cover only vector artwork can be accepted.
