Poly Poplin Fabric
Poly Poplin Fabric is made of 100% Polyester. Traditionally, Poplin is a plain weaved fabric with crosswise ribs that adds to its strength and durability. Poplin in one form or another has been around for centuries. The name “poplin” actually originates from a fabric made in 15th century France for the Vatican. Back then they used silk, but the weave was the same as used today.
In our industry (Trade Show and Hospitality), this type of fabric is perfect for adding logos and art to table covers products. There are several types of printing available including full-color dye-sublimation printing, silk screening and even vinyl heat transfer art. The fabric is smooth, durable and wrinkle resistant. This makes it a big plus for repeated use at special events such as trade shows, conferences, and other promotions.
Standard Poly Poplin:
This is used for printed and blank table throw covers and skirting. It offers the advantage of being inexpensive yet high quality.
Fire Retardant Poly Poplin:
FRPP is a great choice for events that require fabrics to be resistant to fire. “The fabric is treated with special formula that makes it less susceptible to burning. Please note that this does not mean that it is fire proof.
Water Repellent Poly Poplin:
WRPP is coated to help prevent spills from soaking into the fabric. This is great when you can’t afford to have a wet area. Water of liquids simply bead up on the fabric to allow a quick clean up. The coating does not prevent any of the print processes from being utilized.
Eco-Poly Poplin:
If being “Earth Friendly” is important, then EPP is a great solution. It is made of recycled fibers and recycled fabrics (still polyester). This fabric is every bit as strong as Standard Poly Poplin but helps save the planet!
Available Colors:
We offer a large variety of colors for blank or front printed poly poplin table covers. Obviously, the most popular remain royal blue, black and white, but there are enough colors to choose from to fit any design need.
