Our custom shipping policies are unique and customer minded. Here is why:
Some of the products we sell are large and require a freight or flatbed truck. Unlike UPS or FedEx, these products cannot be dropped at your front door. They are heavy and sturdy because they are made of quality, commercial grade materials designed to last for years to come.
There are many factors that determine shipping cost. While many companies choose to charge a blanket amount that is more than likely marked up we evaluate every customer’s delivery needs to get them the most cost effective pricing available. If you’ve ordered online we will contact you regarding your order, get logistic details, and provide a freight quote that requires the customers’ approval before we proceed with the order. If your product(s) does not require freight shipping a traditional shipping quote will be provided through UPS or FedEx ensuring the lowest cost possible.
This ensures that we not only meet our customers’ needs but are able to get them the most current and accurate shipping costs in an ever fluctuating market.
Our shipping is calculated based on the following details.
- Is it being delivered to a business address, residence, church or school?
- Do you have a loading dock or forklift on site?
If our customer does not have either, a freight truck with a lift gate or forklift will be selected to bring the product to ground level for the customer. This is an additional fee.
- Does the delivery need to be taken to a special area?
This service is called INSIDE DELIVERY.
- Is there a deadline for receiving our products?
Unlike UPS or FedEx, freight service does not have a guaranteed delivery time. We strive to give accurate delivery time estimates but if you need a rush, let us know!
- Do you require “CALL AHEAD” service?
A courtesy call from our freight drivers with a scheduled delivery can help you better prepare to receive our products.
