Best practice for post placement and removal:  When placing a post on a receiver plate, the operator should place the edge of the base up to the edge of the plate and rock it into contact in a controlled manner, so as not to allow the post to slam down. This will extend the life of the product both functionally and aesthetically. Consider the direction of the belt when aligning posts, prior to installation.
