Full Color Dye Sublimation Printing
For printing on fabric, dye sublimation can’t be beat. It offers a palette of millions of colors and allows you to print whatever you need in full color at an affordable price.
How Dye Sublimation works
This process is not as complicated as the name implies. A full color image is printed onto a “transfer” paper, and then it is placed onto white fabric and ran through a series of pressure rollers and high heat. This permanently bonds the image directly onto the fibers of the fabric.
Which products use dye sublimation?
We use dye sublimation to print on fabric for a variety of table covers and displays. We offer full color table covers & table skirts, fabric banners, pipe and drape booths, and a number of different fabric trade show displays.
Advantages
One of the advantages of Dye sublimation printing is that the image bonds to the fabric so well. The downside is that we cannot guarantee an absolute Pantone match for colors (many corporate logos use Pantone colors). We usually get close, but this is not guaranteed. Another advantage is that fabric graphics are much easier to pack & ship than laminated Inkjet graphics. Dye-sub printed panels take up less space and fold down more compactly. The best advantage of this printing method is the final look of the image and how good it looks on display products.
