X-style frame banner stands are used extensively for all types of retail, advertising, promotional and informational needs.  They are called X Banner Stands because of the X configuration of the support rods in the back of the display.  The rods support the banner graphic by being inserted into grommets on all four corners.  They also give the attached banner its tension.  There is usually some type of connecting hub in the center that joins the four rods together.  There are many different types of X Style Banner Stands but they mostly work the same way.  Some will utilize the rods as support for the entire banner stand while outdoor versions will have a weighted base.

Banners are usually scrim vinyl or printed fabric finished with grommets on the corners.   This type of banner stand is one of the workhorses in the industry and you will see it used over and over.  It is economical easy to use.  It takes up little space and is easy to pack and ship.  Most of the styles offer “floor to top” graphic visibility and are very lightweight.  Also, because of the design, vinyl or fabric banners are pulled nice and taut.  This is a great general use banner stand.
