Throw covers are a type of table cover for special events like trade shows, job fairs, fairs and promotional events. As the name implies, they simply are “thrown” over a table and in less than 5 seconds, an ugly table is covered up.
Table throw covers are usually made of 100% polyester with a twill weave and are specially made to be fire retardant. In fact, all throws ship with a fire retardant certificate from a testing lab. The weight of our Wyndham fabrics, which is what we make most of our Table Throws out of, is 12 ounces per linear yard. Fabric edges are “serged” to prevent unraveling (edges are sewn using a special machine). Wyndham is also wrinkle resistant and can be machine washed and dried (low detergent, cold wash, low temperature dry).
Throw Cover Coverage Options
Throw covers come in either “Open Back” (Economy), covering three sides or “Standard”, which covers all four sides. Please note that the standard will be seamed in the back for most standard tables. The economy throw covers will have no seam and several inches of fabric will hang over the back.

Throw cover corners are sewn rounded, but we can do square cuts upon request.
Throws are made to hang two inches from the floor. If you need them longer or shorter, please let us know and we can easily adjust the length.
We also can make custom sizes. Let’s say you need to cover a small crate that needs to stay inside your exhibit booth during your trade show. We can make a throw cover to fit it. We just need the crate’s dimensions and we are all set!
Specialty Throw Covers
Camelback Displays offers a unique way to use the same throw table cover on two different sized tables. The Adjust-2-Fit Throw Cover uses Velcro tabs to adjust the size to accommodate either a 6ft wide table or an 8ft table. This throw has been very popular over the years because it adds flexibility. Adjust-2-Fits can be printed like ordinary throw covers and come in a variety of fabric colors.
Blank or Printed?
We offer several different types of printing to apply your logo or full color image to the fabric. We can print the entire table throw cover or just the front. All of our printing methods are of a very high quality. We offer years of experience along with literally thousands of throw cover print jobs under our belt. We offer Maxi Print Silk Screened Throws that can match Pantone colors very closely. Our heat transfer option is for simple logos text without a lot of detail.
