Although this product is an entry level rated product and will not last as long or hold as much weight as our other brands of directors chairs (Gold Medal, Telescope), the cost is much more affordable for a tight budget by using plantation hardwood (softer, less expensive wood). Plantation hardwood is a softer wood than what is used on our other brands.
