In the family of banner stands, retractable banner stands are one of the easiest to use and the fastest to set up. 

Retractable History
Years ago, makers of banner stands realized that they needed to put a twist on this tried and true product.  Most banner stands before, had to have a certain amount of assembly to get the thing up.  They were also heavy and sometimes difficult to put together.  This didn’t work well for account executives on the go, sales people trying to close the big account, trade show exhibitors and anyone needing to set up a banner quickly for a presentation.  Then someone in the industry, remembering a high school science class and the retractable movie screen used to show those documentaries (we all loved so much), decided to adapt that concept to banner stands.  This launched a myriad of new banner stand designs in various shapes and sizes.  This new concept filled the need for faster & easier banner stand set up.

How Do They Work?
Retractable banner stands offer a simple design: A hollow base holds a rolled up banner inside under tension (just like the movie screen) and is pulled up, attached to the top of a support pole and you are all set up in seconds.  To tear it down, all you have to do is gently retract the banner back into the base.  It’s literally as easy as that!

Quite a Variety
Retractables come in single or double sided.  The double sided models simply have an extra cassette facing the opposite way.  Both banners hook to the same support pole.  We also offer table top stands, floor stands, extra wide stands, out door, indoor, removable cassette style and more.  We are constantly adding new products that offer different solutions.  One popular idea that many designers like, is to “gang” up several banner stands in a row to make a larger image.  This doesn’t make a seamless connection (usually), but it works well for certain types of designs.  One way all of our retractable banner stands differ is by the style of the base.  You can browse through our selection and see simple bases to bases that are more design conscious.  Another way they differ is by size.  We offer widths up to 8ft and heights up to 10ft (depending on the model).

Printing Methods
Banners are usually printed in high resolution vinyl, laminated inkjet prints and fabric (dye sublimation).  All types produce high quality images that can be used over and over again.  The customer also has the option of making their own banner for the stand.  We can supply advice and instructions on banner installation.

Uses
Retractable banner stands are great for sales presentations, but are used in stores, lobbies, trade shows, special events, job fairs, restaurants and night clubs just to name a few.

With proper care, your retractable banner stand can be used over and over again and hold up very well.
