LEG ASSEMBLY
Leg assemblies shall be constructed of a vertical, 14 gauge, chrome plated, formed steel channel, 4" x 1", which telescopes over a similar channel of smaller dimension, to allow for vertical adjustment. Adjustment from 22"-29", 19"-26" or 27"-34", in one inch increments, shall be possible through the use of a manual spring bolt mechanism. A full width cross member of 1" diameter, 14 gauge steel tubing shall be welded to the top of the vertical channel and shall rotate within two, 16 gauge saddle clips that are securely fastened to the table top with 4 screws each. A base of 14 gauge, chrome plated, square steel tubing, 1" x 1", shall be welded to the bottom of the vertical channel and shall be closed at the ends with internal plastic caps. The laminate panel shall be backed up by a 24 gauge, steel sheet.

LEG BRACE MECHANISM
Leg braces shall be constructed of at least 7/8" wide x .125" thick, edge-radiused steel. Braces made of less than 11 gauge steel are not acceptable. For safety, braces shall lock automatically and remain locked when the table is in any position during folding and unfolding. Braces shall be designed and constructed to resist wear from frequent operation that could prevent the brace from locking the leg securely in place. Spring actuated devices with case-hardened steel poppits are preferred. The leg brace pivot bracket shall be secured to the table top using a minimum of eight fasteners.

METAL FINISH
All metal parts shall be thoroughly cleaned and phosphatized to enhance paint adhesion. Metal parts are to be finished with a thermofused epoxy powder coating.
