TOPS [select one]
EF Series: Tops shall be constructed of solid, "
thick, AC grade, 7 ply, exterior glue plywood, surfaced with high
pressure plastic laminate and are backed with a phenolic sheet to
prevent moisture penetration. Tops are to be edged with vinyl T molding
having a thickness of at least 3/16". The T molding shall be secured
against removal by the use of staples at regular intervals on the under
side of the table top.
E Series: Tops shall be constructed of solid, " thick,
AC grade, 7 ply, exterior glue plywood. The top surface is to be
finished with a walnut stain and then sealed with two coats of clear
lacquer to resist moisture. Edges are to be protected by an 18 gauge,
galvanized steel angle which shall be secured with screws from the
underside of the table top and placed at intervals not to exceed 10".
Edging must fit flush with the table top. Edging joints shall be welded.
EP Series: Tops shall be constructed of solid, "
thick, AC grade, 7 ply, exterior glue plywood that is padded. Padded
tops shall be laminated with a 1/16" thick vinyl material. Edges are to
be protected by an 18 gauge, galvanized steel angle which shall be
secured with screws from the underside of the table top and placed at
intervals not to exceed 10". Edging must fit flush with the table top.
Edging joints shall be welded.
ADJUSTABLE BASE AND COLUMN
A pedestal base, made of four, 14 gauge steel legs welded to a 12 gauge
tapered hub shall support a two-piece column with three position,
telescoping, vertical adjustment. The lower column shall be 1" dia. -
14 gauge steel with a tapered end that fits securely into the tapered
hub of the base. The lower column shall be fitted with a spring-bolt
lock that provides positive positioning of the upper column. The upper
column shall be of 2" dia. - 14 gauge steel and are to be equipped with
a locking knob having a 3/8" dia. threaded stud. The top of the upper
column shall be capped with a 7" x 7" - 12 gauge steel mounting flange.
The mounting flange shall slide into a mounting bracket anchored to the
tabletop and is to be secured with a single hand knob.
METAL FINISH
All metal parts shall be thoroughly cleaned and phosphatized to enhance
paint adhesion. Metal parts are to be finished with a thermofused epoxy
powder coating.
WARRANTY
Dual height cocktail tables shall be covered by a 5 year warranty.
